The Traditional Series

As with most of our styles, the Traditional Series is available with single (R 0.75) or double glass (R 2.0) glazing and twin-wall (R 1.5) or five-wall (R 3.06) rigid polycarbonate. You may also order single glass walls with a twin wall polycarbonate roof to improve the insulation value or double glass walls with a five-wall polycarbonate roof.

This is our oldest and most economical design for starting seeds, overwintering plants and extending the growing season!!!! It comes with a 5/12 pitch roof (like the average house), three colours (white, dark green and dark brown) in baked enamel, automatic solar roof vent(s), door with a latch, installation video and a detailed installation manual. These are the easiest for do-it-yourselfers to install. Everything is precut and predrilled---hardware is stainless steel for durability. Comes with an installation video and detailed written instructions---parts are pre-cut and pre-drilled and parts are packaged together for each step. You may also order motorized, thermostatically controlled intake louver wall vents and exhaust fans with or without screens for summer ventilation.

The traditional series has been manufactured by the same family-run Canadian company for 55 years with ISO 9000 standard of quality. Their Dutch roots insure attention to detail and economy.

These greenhouses are built to withstand the heavy snow loads of northern climates or numerous hanging baskets. Take the option of ordering with one end wall removed and flanges added for easy 'end' attachment to a house or other building and use as your tropical paradise all winter long!!!!! End attached greenhouses are the easiest to enlarge---simply add more foundation on the wall opposite to the attachment, remove the end wall, add the extra section(s) and reinstall the end wall. Steeper roof pitch (8.5/12, 35 degree angle) gives this greenhouse a more class architectural design. These greenhouses provide more ‘head’ room for hanging baskets and plants or special lighting.

This greenhouse can be adapted to attaching to a house or other building wall by ordering it without an end wall and with gable attachments. This allows the most flexibility for enlarging a home attached greenhouse in the future!!!! Extensions may be added at any time by removing the end exterior wall and adding more side wall and roof sections when your plant collection begs for more room!!!

Design features a 12/12 roof slope (45 degree angle) with a straight eave. This premium model has been featured in national magazines for its elegant style with optional Victorian ridging.

It also adds head from for growing larger hanging baskets and is especially desirable for those who grow or overwinter trees in their greenhouses (think citrus and figs in your own backyard!!!!!!).

End attach this greenhouse to your home and you have a gorgeous but affordable Victorian conservatory!!!!

As with all our greenhouses, our heavy duty aluminum alloy frames come in a choice of white, dark green or dark brown baked enamel frame. Each greenhouse also has one or more solar powered roof vents.

The Cape Cod is available in single or double safety glass or twin-wall rigid polycarbonate (or glass with a twin wall roof) for greater insulation value over single glass. For those who need maximum light, this great is a perfect choice.
